cuz I DONT!!

I need an acuator.  anyone have a good one laying around?
Tony's got one, but he may want to keep it as a spare.
BTW tony where you get it?

I took my cover off--  so clean; no mud- but the plastic parts are cracked

also,  can I punch that pin through and run it in 4x4 until my new one comes in?  If so what is the trick to that without damaging anything?

With the gears out of the actuator  it should be in 4x4. Just pull the gears out and put the cover back on.

ah.  so if I take the old actuator comepletly off then I will be 4x4?  Its not like I am running with any cats since travis is touring the US with his trailor I've been riding at river run with a few hondas and havnt really needed the 4x4 to show em up. where do you get your parts? I need bearings and a starter and some ujoints.  Want em cheap.  OEM is so high on atv parts.

If you take it completely off you will need to seal up the hole that the pin sticks out of to keep water and mud out. I pretty much buy everything from Steel Horses. Its just easier for me.

gotcha..  he's to da#n far for me to get bearings brake pads.  I need to order all my stuff today.  its all easy stuff on my bike.  the gohillas on the polaris are stuck in the diff though got it split apart and the ends soaking in diesel.  May have to get some new cups from G-unit (that's what I'm gonna call em from now on)

we got dry trails down here BTW.  you guys need to plan to come down in the fall after a good rain.

Cat Bargins on ebay has had a few of them for prety fair prices.  but if you leave it on the diff you could just do like you said and pull/pull the pin to make sure its in 4wd and then ride it like that untill you can get a new one.

If your board is good and you just need the plastic parts, I would try my dealer 1st. They will probably give you the plastic parts from an actuator that they swapped out. The whole actuator will cost about $185 with shipping, so I would try to beg for the free parts from the dealer 1st.

Just throwin' out another option to help save some dough!!!

yea that motor spins.  just the plastic piece that slaps that pin comes apart
I might try that.  To my surprise there is no water damage.  Its just a foul part

Yea, I bet the dealer would hook you up for that piece. They won't work on them, they only swap out the whole actuator for new, so I bet they have some used ones laying around.

BTW, have you noticed the write up I did on the secondary cage mod. You have an 06', so I know you will benefit from it.
