i have a '91 honda 300 and i would like to nooo how much does gear reduction really help

problem is thr 300 has the parts we use in a gear reduction for the 400s/450s

you can use the primary gear from an old honda 250 with a little machining but it wouldnt be worth it unless you were really serious about it

the parts are from a ex not a 250 and they aint that much work
