Are there any manufactures offering a full exhaust system that is already ceramic coated? The stock exhaust on my brute gets wicked hot in the summer heat.

Take it off and send it to Jet-Hot. They will coat it for you.

I looked into it before and it is pretty simple. I can't remember exactly what they wanted to charge. I think it was right around $150 for the front head pipe and rear head pipe combined. That was supposed to include shipping to and from their facility. Should only take a week turn around time. I am ready to do it now sometime during the winter months.

Yeah me too. I got to do something. It's gotten to were my wife cant stand to ride with me. The plastic on the left rear fender gets too hot to touch!! The crappy stick on heat shield that came with it has done long ago feel off from getting wet.
I thought about the header wrap but as much as i stay in the water i doubt it will last either so i guess its down to ceramic coating the pipes.

All that Vtwin power is fun but it sure does make a lot of heat.

They claim it will cut down the heat by 40 to 50%. I hope so.

Keep checking this thread. There are some individuals that have had it done before.
