I took my carbs off to clean them out real good and do some adjustments. When i detached the fuel line gas flowed out of it like crazy and continued to until I clamped the hose. My other brutes do not do this. What could it be?

Is the prime valve turned to "prime" ? Maybe the tank vent is clogged and pressure has built up in the tank. Had it been setting in the sun?

the prime valve is not on and it has not been in the sun. is the vent tube that you are referring to the one going into the frame?

Yeah....Ya know how a gas can will sometimes build up pressure if it's not vented.  Was the tank full? Maybe it just had a good siphon going.

When I worked on mine sometimes it would have pressure built up and I had to put a bolt in it to shut it off. I have my vent ran up to the pod too.
