I purchased my machine in the US and brought it across to Canada, during the registration process there was a recall check.  My CAN-AM had to have a $25 spacer attached to the foot brake as it was said that people ride the 800 and don't realize they are depressing the brake.  The dealer was supposed to mcover this under factory recall but charged me regardless as I imported the machine from the US.  Anyways it looks like an 800 with a club foot for a brake.

Hey Mat... I can't recall ever using the foot brake on that bike, and surely it never hung up... I  am guessing that the quad does not like living in MS..

spray some wd40 on the pedal where it pivots... they get dirt in there and wont come back up... the recall was for the older bikes that had the old style pedal that wasnt high enough and people were rideing with their foot on it..

Naw, it was a pretty easy fix once I broke down the c-locks. then it was pretty obvious.

Spray some wd-40 on it and loosen the nut up a lil and it will come back up.I've had the same thing happen to mine.
