i just got done relocating the rad. and snorkeling my bike. i took it for a ride and noticed it was taking a while for the fan to kick on. when it did come on it was making a buzzing noise,,possibly even to fan hitting the sides.. anyone have this problem????? thanks

Taking a while for the fan to kick on could be the fact that it is up top now and getting a lot more air on the fins, therefore not getting the temperature up as fast.  The buzzing sound could be the bracket that you mounted the rad in somehow putting a bind on the fan blades.  This is jmo.  Hope everything works out.

Mine does the same thing..sounds like the fan is hitting the shroud when I go over bumps and stuff..whenever I am on "smooth" terrain it does just fine.

well take this from someone who is on their 3rd fan , the buzzing noise, IS the blade hitting the shroud, it gets wore out where is connects to the motor. you should be fine. but when it does go out, take apart the new one, and cram marine grease around the "sealed" bearing on the motor, and also on the inside part of the blade that touches the motor. after doing this to my new one, it has worked flawless since day one! (about 5 months so far) no grinding noise, and it has not went out due to me bailing off in water all the time. good luck
