You want to wrap your exhaust around all the way back to the front of the bike?  I've never heard of that.

You lost me man. You are wanting your engine exhaust to come out the front? Why, what do you stand to gain?

YES,at the end of the muffler i would like to install a snorkle that ran under the bike and to the front handlebar area where my air intake snorkle is.
reason:
i ride in lots of deep water and mud,and need to keep the exhaust out of it right??
as the front comes up and out of the holes the exhaust is buried almost in the mud.
i really didnt want a snorkle sticking up behind me to hit as i got on and off,hit on trees as im not able to look behind me sometimes as riding trails or up and down wooded creek beds.
if it cam out the rear it may need to go up 3feet to stay out of the mud as the front lifts up,thats just too high.
understand now??
what should i do?
do i need an exhaust snorkle???
thanks guys

Well quite frankly it isnt even possible. You would have to custom make a new head pipe to come straight up. You really dont need an exhaust snorkal anyway. As long as it stays running while the pipe is underwater you will be fine. It will not idle underwater no but you can crank your idle real high and it might. On my quad my snorkal will go underwater when I waterwheelie but you have to be on the throttle to do mthat thus no water can get in. I put it on there so I can idle in high water. I cant turn my idle up because my bike is a manual and will "crawl" forward. A good weld and a bracket holding it to the back rack and you shouldn't have any problems. I can shake my quad with my snorkal and it wont even begin to come off.

be good...thanks guys

Just to add my 2 cents.. If you do shut down in the water, your going to level off anyway.. and at that point you can fire it back off.. No snorkel = No Cranky :)

I wouldn't even waste time on an exhaust snorkle unless you shut off in water a lot(back pressure issues).  Most of the time they just hold water in them anyway.

Now, granted I'm new at equipping a bike for optimal performance, and going place's it was not meant to go to start with.
However I'm no spring chicken with 4 stroke engines...I been playing with 8 cylinders for years.

The way I see it, it depends on the bike, how New it is, or Old it is, or how well its tuned and can handle being under water.
The bike I'm fooling with, I can guarantee you it will shut done when I least expect it to, (Like under water) no matter how
well its tuned or running. Its an older bike with a Mikunie carburetor.

I personally love my exhaust snorkel.  It was an engine rebuild that caused mine though.  This was a costly mistake.  I can water wheelie all day long with my exhaust snorkel on.  I have had it so high that I can hear it go under water and it never has missed a beat.  Only way to go imo.

I can't afford a rebuild.  A $20 exhaust snork is a lot cheaper than a top end and engine cleaning.

to me it just seemed to be a hasle, for instance down in samsola fl at the pumpkin run i had one last year and it got caught on every  thing, low limbs were a real pain, but i guess it all depends on wat kind pf conditions you ride in also!

I had one and it was just in the was as well.  I just idled mine up and it never shut off in the water.  If you have the airbox snorkeled then chances are if it shuts off it's due to getting water or mud down the snorkel and it's already been thru the engine anyway.
