it really depends on what you want to spend. i would say that LTE and Woods full systems are probably the best right now. and as far as slip-ons go, i think they are all about the same HP gain.

the best choice has a lot of personal preference involved, which is why you may not have gotten a response so far.

from what i have read, the HMF is the best dollar to performance ratio exhaust you're going to find.  but the ron woods and LTE exhausts are great, but pricey.  the HMF ones are the most common and sound good.  i personally don't like loud exhausts, so if i was to get an aftermarket exhaust, it would be the swamp series from HMF.

For HP Gains, the HMF.  Ask c1999, he has done the most extensive testing on the Outlander 800 and performance Upgrades.  I put an HMF Utility Slip on my 08 Outlander.  You can notice the performance gain, not HUGE but you can tell it is faster.  That comes at a price....it is very loud.  When you get on the gas it screams.  I am going to buy the quiet core and take my chances on the performance decrease.  Even with the QC, it should still offer peformance improvements over the stock exhaust

That won't get you far on here, or anywhere.  You don't realize how many NOOB questions arise and nobody uses the search function to see what has already been discussed.  Show a little respect and patience

and USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION

I agree 007BF....

As far as Exhaust ...I have tried several and for the Money the HMF is the best for torque and HP.... The woods exhaust I had gave about 1 to 1.5 HP more but the torque was lower.........The Woods does sound better.........

dude, seriously, that's not the way to react to the guys who have been here are are well respected.  keep in mind that the longer someone has been here, the more they have seen these same questions over and over.  it would be better to say "i searched but didn't find what i was looking for".  you rub the wrong people here the wrong way, you won't get much help and may have a short stay here.

Hey guy, if you took my comment rude, then you must have been being rude with the Thanks Alot comment.  I didn't have the intention of rubbing you the wrong way.

Give the forums some time to chime back, unless you're full of grease and stuck on fixing something.

Also, you can look in a lot of ppls signatures to see their mods (mine is not a good example).

I hope the guys that did chime in gave ya'll a good starting point on finding the right exhaust.  Our group runs just about all HMFs...if you call their sales dept they are very helpfull.

That is my hubby...and trust me that is an apology.  He is always joking around and probably 99% of the ppl on here know him....take a look at the 'Show off your Can-Am official thread'.  Brutewise is his riding buddy, but if you didn't know that you would think they were about to plan a 'drive-by'.

If you ever need help, send him a PM...he always responds.
