+1, way too much tire for a stock 300.  Also, I wouldn't advise EDL's on the rear IF it would turn them. They will dig way too easily and get you high centered. With proper throttle control it is possible not to dig, but it is something you ALWAYS have to be careful about.

Even with a jet kit you won't have to power to turn EDL's on a 2wd.  Stick with a 26 or 27.

EDL's are the heaviest tires your can buy. I dont see any 300 turning them unless you have a gear reduction. And I just sold my 300 so I know how they ride.

well the is a guy on here turning 31s with a foreman 400 before he had a gear reduction. Also I ment that 300 turns them good in loose mud, water, and some loose clay not saying it will turn them in peanut butter. Yall can say it wont if you want to but I just know what I have seen

I believe a 2wd 300 would spin the (42lb) 26.5" tall tires...

BUT, I would NEVER reccomend that tire for the back of any bike.  you will get dug down faster than you will learn to control the throttle in most situations and thats not even to mention reverse.

Ya, reverse is no good with EDLs, especially in 2WD. You'll go down more than backwards.

but I would like to see you sport them. Post  apic if you get em'.

That foreman 400 also has motor modifications and lower gearing than a 450 stock.  Why would you want EDL's on the back of a 2wd?  a tall skinny tire that is made for digging.  Don't sound like a good deal to me for a 2wd but it's up to the user i guess.

They are almost the heaviest tire.Check Mudzillas weight. And yes they dig something serious the only thing I would use them for would be climbing heals or mud racing.

to the original poster - is this a 2wd bike? what size, 300?

I would agree that an edl would be too much tire for a 2wd. I'd stick with something  in the 25-26" range and go wide on a SRA bike. I have been thinking of putting 26x12x12's on my 2wd 300, I'm soon to get a set for the back of my 4wd, so I'll probably try them on the 2wd to see how it does.

Also, don't get a jet kit unless you're getting or already have a filter and exhaust. It would be a total waste of money on a mostly stock bike.

iv got 26x12 vamps on my 400 4x4 w/ jet, k&n, modified exh.,  and the hardest thing on the quad is deep water, those lugs act as paddles, i have almost no power in 2nd on mine, their wide but only 26s! itll be tought doin anything w/ edls, more tread n height will make it tough to have fun
