cool, easy questions make me look like I know what I'm talking about. The 9V plug is for running diagnostics. I wouldn't tie into it for anything, actually. If you need to tie into a hot wire with the ignition, tie into the cig-lighter wire, or another orange wire with a white stripe in the pod. The three pronged plug you found is for the reverse light switch. You need to get a switch from a dealer, or get an otto switch from quadovator. This will control the backup lights. They are not meant to coem on when in reverse. The tail lights are supposed to be on whenever the ignition is on, it's a safety feature. going back to the backup lights, or work lights, you will need to get the switch from polaris, or get one from quadovator. If you look at the back of the pod you will find little knockouts. Take a dremel or razor blade and cut one of these out. The plug will plug right into it, and you will suddenly have work lights.
