HaHa!!  They would charge me an outrageous price for them.  I'm looking for the people who make them for Yamaha.

what tool are you looking for?
most of their "tools" can be improvised
I own none of them and can do anything I want to my grizzly short of removing the flywheel, which can be done with a harmonic balancer tool

Special tools come from the dealer.  You're right, the manufacture is farmed out, but they remain a proprietary part and are not released for sale to anyone other than a dealer.

I've had to rig a few tools to do certain things, but I may be opening my own atv repair shop next year and having these specialty tools would certainly make things easier.

I can get them from Yamaha at a high price, but there's got to be a way to get them elsewhere.

You can get flywheel pullers, valve spring compressors, and other tools on ebay that work on these quads.  You can even rig up your own slide hammers for pulling rocker arm assemblies with some all thread and a weight.  If you need help finding something in particular let me know.  I've been able to find a lot of hard to find tools for my bear.
