I want more power out of my 650. It just isn't cutting it. So I was wondering if adding a clutch kit, pipe, and programmer will give me significant gains? I would also like to state I have no idea where the nearest dyno is around me, so I may not be able to tune it.

The pipe and clutch kit definitely gives you the biggest gains in performance.

You will need to find the nearest shop with a dyno (even a car dyno) to set your A/F ratio right with the programmer.

From what I've read on here, it sounds like it's pretty easy to upgrade to an 800!

I can't comment on the difference between the stock exhaust and an HMF.  I bought my bike and had my dealer install the exhaust before I picked it up.  Three weeks later, I installed the green clutch spring and the pcIII.  With these installed, the bike has much better snap off the line.  I still haven't been able to line up a custom tune for my bike but it's in the works.  I think you'll feel a significant difference with a new clutch spring, exhaust, and programmer.  Funny to hear you say, a 650 is not cutting it any longer .  400 miles and this thing puts a smile on my face each and every ride.  Let us know what you end up doing, curious to hear how your bike reacts to the upgades.

Well, for the pipe the seat of the pants bottom end there was a bit more but the sound made it feel like it had 10 more hp.  I have tried the EPI and dalton clutch kits, the EPI was impressive until I burn't my belt.  Now I have both kits installed and it feels like a 800.  It wheelies almost as easily in high as it did in low with just the white EPI primary spring in.  I do not have the PC3 yet but hope to get it soon.

From stock, I added my hmf first. = GREAT GAINS
Then I added my clutch kit, air filter, snorkels and programmer. = GREAT GAINS over the HMF
Defintely worth it
