Ok i was totally impressed.  Best Batman movie ever.  Bale plays him great and Ledger mastered the Joker.  I wasnt bored anytime during the movie.  I even went all out and bought a large popcorn and drink which cost me 11.50...ouch.

Ive seen it twice already, and amidst what everyone says that Ledger will win some type of award just because of his passing, he WAS the joker. Second go round I paid a lot more attention to the acting as I had my friend who is a film major with me and we both agreed the acting was awesome in this movie. Best movie of the summer so far.

the best comic/ hero movie to come out yet. One of the best jobs of acting i have seen in a while.  Seen it twice and I am yet to find a flaw.  Was skeptical of whether Ledger could pull the Joker off but was probably the best acting job in the movie.  JMO

I have to be honest. The first two thirds of the movie was great.  When they switched over to Two Face, they kind of lost me.  Heath Ledger was great as the Joker. He WAS the movie.  Christian Bale did a pretty good Batman.  I wish they would have stuck with just the Joker for this movie.

I hope that they don't recast the Joker if and when they make another Dark Knight movie.  The Joker should die with Heath Ledger.

lol everyone knows I loved it...

It is well on it's way to being number 2 all time box-office draw in the US!  Well-deserved IMO

I thought the two-face thing was a bit wasted as well.  I thought this movie should've been the yin and yang(Batman and Joker), and they should've saved the theme of "duality" for the third movie with twoface and catwoman.  This would've been the most effective setup IMO with these more "grey area" characters...
