Looks like Ill be a buying a new 09' Brute Force Lime Green 750I FI. Only going to set up for Light Mud/Trail with some mods. Hopefully I can sell of my stuff and get it going.

You wont regret getting the brute

Give it a few months and you'll be modding that ole brute for the mud...I tried the same thing and couldn't stay way from it

Just want to chill and have fun. The King is great, but its set up for the mud and I just want a change also. And I saw a Lime Green Brute and it was awesome and it wasent muddy but it was a looker and I want to do that and still have just as much fun.

no snorkels.. you no they are as bad as the older ACs are about needing snorkels you are just asking for trouble on that IMOP.. even just "trail riding" you will find a creek that needs crossed..lol

i would run snorks on your new brute just "in case".  i have my king set up for fast trail riding more than mud but its hard to ride past a pond/hole without dipping your toes in.

My buddys 07 750 has no issues to speak of, keep the belt tight and clutch it for the size if tires you are going to use and have a blast. oh and you got to have a good pipe onit nothing like a V twin with a HMF ..

No I dont even want to "dip my toes in" anything if I put snorkles on Ill be tempted to to do it and I dont want none of that other then whats recommended on this Brute. Im for sure not out of it forever, just for now untill I get another mud bogger.

My thoughts !! I know several folks that say to snork a Brute even if you're a straight up trail rider!  I know 1 old boy that's been lucky so far, & he's(IMO) pushed his luck too many times!!  Good luck bro & hope it all works out good for ya!!!                      Brandon

smart choice, even though kings are great bikes the brute is going to have ton more torque and power, but umm i wont say anything but it will be snorked, i said the same thing our exhaust on the cvt is not what you call up so to speak.....meaning water is going to come in.... plus brutes once there snorked they look factory anyways and can always be put back with factory parts no cutting or anything cept for the 15 dollar center piece under the pod which just buy a back up if needed..... good luck man with the sell we need more brute owners
