Out riding around on my local trails and hammered it out of a corner to the right, pulled the tires hooked up good. I stopped to make a left hand turn later on a right of way and i heard a slight popping in the rear diff. or cv.

It sounds like a low nuckle got stressed. That hurt my feelings so I took it to the mudd trails to teach it a lesson. It would not pop whit the wheels pointing straight but if I turn left it pops. I know all to well what a brocken half thaft sounds like, but this is soo faint it's hard to pin point. Has anybody heard of this happening??? I plan on calling in the morn. to ask my dealler about replacement. He told me when i got it to keep the stockers on it for service and we would be cool, I guess we will see about that promise!!

check the boot and make sure its not tore anywhere, dirt in them will make it pop like that. or it could be the cage is cracked..?

had that happen to me a couple months ago. busted the left rear inner joint. luckily warranty covered it. dealer installed a new axle

i know in our area the dealers are cracking down on warrenty work on shafts. are far as 2 inch lifts and tires

except for the bigger tires,my suspension is stock. no kind of lift kit at all.

yeh my dealer was saying how a/c is crackin the whip too but also said cat care is still takin care of things.

GWC i checked the boots and found a tear in the top right boot. When i squezzed the boot just a little dirty water came out. But like i said the pop is lower so maybe he won't pitch a fit. I put my stockers back on and changed pipes out to take it in friday. I call it 50-50 yes i am running 28's but they are only ITP's not SB's. it happened in a dirt bowl not the water and mud ruts that break so many of them. No lift , no snorks and rad still @ safe in the frame. Just hope all goes well!!!
