Has anybody had problems with this winch not engaging after you free spool out and then locking it back? It sounds like the gears are grinding and I have to play with it to engage but it will feed out fine when i press the out button. winch is only a year old and been used about 5 times.

Yup. I had to take mine apart and a bunch of peices had been ground up and some gears were stripped. Mine was trashed.
