I was sick of having my entire front rack taken up by my split pipe (homemade) so I decided to get rid of the middle pipe.The box is completely sealed.

Now I have to clean up all the dang red Texas clay.

I still need to clean up the wires a little bit, but I'm pretty happy with it.

yep the plexi glass is a good idea, how much do you think the set up cost??

These amps aren't very big so they aren't putting out enough power to get very warm.  You could have issues with bigger amps though.

just wondering, i know years ago when i was i school and into the systems even a amp under the seat of the pickup would get hot and shut down but they are probably built better now. the boxes looked small with little air space to keep cool enough even with a small amp but again it's been quite a while since i messed with that stuff and that's why i asked.

Amp technology has changed quite a bit as well  Everything now is solid state which runs cooler and more efficient.

ya same here. any basic instructions you can give us? I have an idea as i have been looking at some old posts and stuff but need to know more about how to wire these things i'm sure its not that hard but never done it before. thanks for any info you can give us.

It'll cost about £400-450. I'm building one at the min but i already have cd player, speakers, wood, fibreglass kits, and a lot of time.

I figure my box cost about 50 dollars.  70 for the speakers, 40 for the amp, 20 for wiring (could be about 5, but I used some wierd stuff.

Me and Ay4alex_420 live in the uk, everything over here is overpriced sh*te, and we even have to get the exhausts for quads imported from america, thats how bad it is!!
