I've been there a couple of times. It's ok I guess. take a look at that 72oz steak before you buy it. It looked to me like there was about 20oz of nothing but fat on the ones I've seen.

The place is GREAT!  It's not just dinner but the whole experience.  There's a gift shop, arcade, bar and then the dinner area.  The food is good but the experience is AMAZING.  If you really want to do it right and your staying at a motel, call them up because there free limo service by them from any motel in the area to the Big Texan and then back.  If you have kids it's a great place and if you don't you will enjoy it too.  Don't forget your camera!

They used to have a huge rattlesnake named George. They would feed him on Wednesday a big ole rat. That was exciting to watch also. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.

i haven't been, but my sister said it's amazing.  they got the real whole experience when they stayed there on the way home from finals rodeo in colorado.  they utilized the barns, arenas, restaurant, and the motel.  she said the atmosphere and decor make it worth the trip, food completes the package.
