DOSE ANYBODY HAVE ISSUES WITH THEIR 98 - 04 FOREMAN FLOATING THE FRONT TIRES OR (WATER WHELIE)
I HEARD YOU CAN PUT A BASKET BALL BEHIND THE FRONT BASH PLATE AND IT WILL ADD 13 POUNDS OF BUOYANCY
HAS ANYBODY DONE THIS OR SOMETHING SIMILAR?

I remember a few years back you would see that being done quite a bit. You don't see it so much now. It works, no doubt about it, and basketball's are cheap anyway. You'll need a basketball and a pump for it.

with good size tires you won't have any problems matter of fact mine floats a little too much so i would try it with out the ball before you put one in there.

Ive done it, works well.  You just have to be careful not to tip over, it is easy to do.  I just did it for fun, not sure what it would do if you were trying to compete.

I can pull into a water hole about to the top of the tire and stop and just lean back and mine will start bobbing.

i had a basket ball in the front of my rancher at one time and i could not keep the front down it helped me a lot if you think of how hard it is to sink a basket ball in a pool just think how much it will help the front float and allso my rubicon will not water wheelie unless i have a lot of air in the front tires and no air in the back tires if i have a lot of air in the back tires the back will try to float instead of the front and u cant make it bite to wheelie and plus it is a lot harder to keep stable with the back floating  imo

Would puttin about 50 pounds of weight on the back rack help you keep the back down or would it make it harder to balance?  Some people say you need to keep the weight you add low but I don't wanna put water in my tires..Anybody done this?

A set of skid plates cut out of quarter inch steel helps keep them planted a little better.  If you're crafty you can duplicate one of the online aluminum swingarm skids out of the same steel.  The weight is all over, but the extra flat area helps "push" the water in front of you.  Makes it easier to balance IMO.  Weight on the back rack throws the balance off, harder to avoid going over backwards sometimes, especially if there's any current at all.

guys talking about 29.5s floatin bad... try 30" mudlites!!!!!!! they SUCK when ya get into really deep water!   I believe they are worse than the 31" laws.      the 30's would probably be nice if I would have had my bike spaced out a bunch where I could keep it balanced well... and I didnt weigh soo much... first time I tried deep water I had the bike sitting the the 12 o'clock position floating and I jumped off and used the wheeler for a life boat... I couldn't touch bottom and I stand about 6'4"

I’ve herd about the basket ball trick or soccer ball and also adding water into your tires. I have 26” Swamplite and also floats really easy and I go really deep to the point when the only thing you see is my snorkel lol. And you don’t need a lot of power to water wheelie, I can be at a dead stop and my bike starts to float/ front end start to float. Also I have 3 psi in my Swamplite so that my bike don’t float to much and it does help out.
