Knock yourself out bud. I'm not even really sure how the real C-locks work myself.

I know how they work. If u want some "real" Crushloks for it let me know.

What size are the rims? We have thought about making some real small ones for kicks.

I know what they do and what they are for James lol. I just haven't seen a set, or pictures of a set that show how the rim goes together with the tire.

I've got two maxx's, one is a 2.5 that I upgraded to a 3.3 and the other is the extended 3.3. I've done a lot of mods to mine, everything is aluminum now and the older one is heavily moded. It has the big bore shocks, wide aluminum a arms and cv joints alround, chrome tuned pipe reverse eliminator, bigger servo and lots more. That 3.3 really moves as compare to the 2.5 though, its worth the upgrade. I'm looking for some new rims and tires if anyone has a good set they want to get rid of!

The only difference between the 2.5 and the 2.5r is the head, the head on the R is anodized blue. There is no difference between the two.

Its supposed to help with the cooling......don't think there is any difference but the looks. The Traxxas exchange program is pretty cool, you should upgrade to the 3.3. Man it's worth it, it hauls now.
