I had the pleasure of getting a look at an 08 brute's engine while tore down on the dealers bench....Very interesting if you have not seen such a mess your self.

There was dirt,grit, and crap everywhere in the motor , yes it is getting rebuilt because the dude that swamped it kept riding it and ruined the entire engine. I wish I had a camera to show you what was in there.

And get this, the service guy said that it was being covered on waranty

!

My brute motor damage was also covered under warranty even with snorkles ...My crankcase breather came unhooked from the airbox when i was racing at a bog back in may....Just a lil crud ruined the bottom end...but i cleaned it up before taking it in...Thank god the extended the warrant from 6mos to a year or i would be screwed $3000
