I'm wondering if 28-10x12 up front and 28-12x12 in back on stock wheels will fit with no clearance issues? 06 Brute 750 all stock. These tires are swamp fox plus not just the swamp fox. Has anyone ever run these tires are they decent for trail and the occasional mud hole? Are they better than mudbugs? Should I change the spring or any other mod to make them work? any thoughts?

On the back your probably going to rub the gas tank guard.

I have 27" Bugs on stock wheels and they rub on the bumps.

Edit: I just thought about the 08's being a bit lower than previous years, so you MIGHT be alright.

.Rubbing SHOULDN'T be a problem for you. IF your SFplus's are as undersize as my buddies then YES they will fit without rubbing. If they are true to height and width there will be a very slight rub on the side of the fuel tank. I'm maybe not 100% correct on my measurement on my friends bike but the height was awfully close to and inch short and an inch narrow. Do you have them where you can measure them or are you ordering them? Keep in mind they will squat on the bike. To answer your other questions they are just fine as a trail/light mud tire. No they are not better than Mudbugs at anything except possible the ride quality at speeds under 5 mph.

They run about 1" short.  They are a good all around tire. I dont think you will be dissapointed.

well I got them 28-9-12 front 28-12-12 back and yes they only make the fronts in 9s. They look great and they run a little short but dont rub at all havent ridden them much waiting on secondary spring upgade. I just hope they pull good in the mud as good as they look.

What air pressures do you have in them and how short are they (on the machine no rider)? I like to know these things 'cuz I'm a nerd

I  liked mine, did fine for me on the trails and would hold there own in the mud fairly good, they do dig a bit though. And also they do run about an inch short!!!
