Hello, Im Emma.  A friend of mine just bought a 2008 Suzuki Eiger 400 and he was wondering what are the pros and cons of the eiger.  He wants to snorkel it and if anyone has any pictures of how to snorkel an eiger, he would really appreciate any advice or help anyone has to offer.  Thanks

Manuals seem to have a hard time turning large tires in reverse, no problem with automatics. run the carb vent line to a clean place or put a filter on it, dont run it to the air box as it cause vacum problems and run like poop. i have pics of the snorkles posted somewhere? maybe the busco beach forum?
I run 27's and have no major problems other than the regular stuff that happens in deep mud and riding hard (wheel bearings, break pads and dirty belt/ weights and cloged carb from no snorkle) otherwise ride it like you stole it!!! awesome simple bike, no radiator to clog, doesnt weigh a ton and tough as nails

! The only other thing that it doesn't have that I don't think has been mentioned is a locker.

Thank yall so much! I really appreciate the help. Does anyone know where I can find pictures of how to snorkel the Eiger? Where the pipes for the intake and exhaust were ran?

I am unsure what they might have changed in the last few year models, but my experience was that with heavy tires in deep mud the manuals do stugle some. I had every bolt on mod I could think of also. Quality wise, my brother is still running it today, he beats the *&^% out of it and still runs with no major problems.

Is it a manual or automatic?

Overall Id say that the Eiger is an amazing bike other than a few small little things i would like to have such as a locker (as mentioned before), electric 4x4 engagement, and i wish the engine was a full 400cc. But other than those little things it is tough as nails, as i have beat the living crap outa mine with the stuff i do.
