Status: offline 		Hey y'all!  About a year and a half ago, out of nowhere, I felt a very strong urge to support this cause.  I signed up for last year's race and raised a little money.  For some reason its just in me to do everything I can to help this cause, so here I go again.  The event is Saturday, September 20th.  This year I have formed a "team" for the race (walking for me).  We're called "The Mud Chics" (I know that comes as a suprise)!  Anyway, I'm asking for those of y'all who are close enough, and are able to, to please join our team and help us raise some money.  If you can't or don't want to do the race, please feel free to donate to the cause on behalf of our team, or just for yourself.  I'm posting the link (which hopefully works) that will take you to the donation page.

There are many survivors & victims that are linked to us in one way or another, so PRETTY PLEASE help us out!!!!  PM or email me at maggied@highlifter.com if you have any questions.

Status: offline 		this is a great cause Maggie.  I know that our club out there can prob help you out.  some are in your area.....i will see what we can do from here.  We did this a couple years ago so i would love to help out the MUD CHICS!  i will get back to ya.

Status: offline 		Hey gang!  I just got a phone call that someone close to us (the forum peeps as a whole) has been diagnosed with breast cancer.  I'm going to keep her name private for now.  Please pray for her!!!!!!  We don't realize how this effects all of us each day!!

Status: offline 		I am so proud of my little team!  We are now ranked #4 in the Shreveport/Bossier City area.  We have raised a little over $1300!!!  This is AMAZING!!  I am going to keep pushing to see if we can make it to #1!  Thanks to all of you who have supported this cause!!

rabit959, that is AWESOME!!  Are you talking about the Shreveport/Bossier Race?

I just checked my team's stats again.  Out of 146 teams in our area...we are #3!!  We've raised $1630.00.  We still have more to record AND I organized a fund raiser at my office that will take place on 9/19.  I am so excited!
