All of Y'all down my way keep an eye out for me. My Brute was stolen from Tupelo Powersports (Mississippi) Monday morning. I had it in there to get my cam chains replaced.

There is a Kawasaki dealership in Shreveport that doesn't under any circumstances cover theft from their property. They tell me it's up to me to have theft insurance. I started to take my prarie in to get the factory recall done on the front end. They told me it was first come, first served and I'd have to leave my bike there and when/if they got the parts in they would make the repairs. I asked them if they were going to store it inside, they said no. I ask them if they had insurance to cover theft or any damage or missing parts if they came in to work one morning and found something like my seat missing. They said no. I ask them if I could wait until they got the parts in then bring my bike in and have the recall done. They said no I'd have to leave it and wait. I SAID NO!!!!!

I'd make sure before I assumed they cover it.

The folks at Tupelo Powersports are stand up guys. I know that they will do the right thing. They have went out of their way to to help me with other bikes when the dealers closer to me have not. The Tupelo police department tells us that they do have 3 dudes that they are watching. Cross your fingers. I need a little help from the local boys. $250.00 reward (cash) for anyone that can tell me who stole my Brute!!!!! That ain't no crap.
There's plenty of Y'all from the Lee county area in here, help me & I wil make it worth your while, on top of the reward. Everyone please link this post to any other forum that you are a member of down in this area. Thanks for your support!

i believe by law any dealer has to cover it if they are in possession of it for service or anything else.

Well, if the bike is not found I'm gonna get a new Brute & fix it up just like the one I had. Gotta let everything run its course first with the insurance companies & all.

Yea when we came into work tuesday morning we were piss  ed off...  They cut the fence and took it.  I think the cops have a place there scoping out.  Hopefully it will be there and along with alot more that has been stolen from the area recently..  You need to get this 08 we got left before it is sold..
