This how I built mine 1. bought 2 6" caps and couplings (drainage not sch 40) sch 40 is to expensive. Bought at Lowes 2. I already had the pipe. I used SDR 35 which is for drainage not pressure. 3. Glued the caps on about 8" of pipe then glued the couplings on all with pvc primer and solvent glue. (length will vary due to diffrent rack sizes) 4. Glued a 2" piece of pipe in the open end of the coupling flush with the coupling end for the speaker screws to bite into 5. Hot glued blocks of wood to the bottom of my phase linear amp I bought from Auto Zone 6. Meaasured and drilled holes in the bottom of the tube for power supply and to supply second speaker wire. 7. Marked speaker screw holes onto tube and pre-drilled for the screws. Installed amp. hot glue blocks of wood to pipe 8. painted the tubes with bed liner spray paint 9. secured speakers and ran a bead of silicone around them for added protection (remember silicone will not accept paint that is why I painted first) 10. Marine goop'ed at all wire penetrations (marine Goop or Plumbers Goop can be found in the paint section of Home Depot) Hooked up power and ground wire to battery and second power wire to Aux power port. I used marine grade Kenwood speakers. I also put in a in-line fuse between the amp the battery. The RCA cables would not fit very well at the amp so I bought 90 degree adapters from Radio shack. Good luck with the build
