Has anyone replaced the stock solid core plug wires with sprial core wire?

We did one 750 with some left over 10mm from a performance honda accord.  What I have noticed is mostly at night.

With the factory wire you can see it arching to the frame at mutilple points, meaning we are losing spark intensity along the way.

With the 10mm silicone spirial core no loss or arching.

10mm is a bit large to use the factory terminals, so we are waiting for 8.5mm wire which I believe is the ticket.

Keep you posted.

I used left over 8mm msd wire I had and it works great. Be sure to get the tips that thread on to the spark plug so you can use the boot. This also does away with the resistor thats in the stock spark plug boot. Much more spark energy is getting to the plug without that resistor and, after about 6 months, there have been no ill affects.
