Hi Guys ,

1.)  I am looking for a different style of handle bar.  I have been on a bike with the TAG T2's on ATV bend, they felt great.  No vibration and were a bit higher than stock.  Problem is I can't use the stock XT hand guards with them and they are expensive.  I like to ride a-lot standing up and the stock bars feel to short I am 6'3".  Any recommendations are great for my riding style.

2.)   I am about to order a PC 3 for my 650. I have pipe on now and would like to put of a Twin Air filter with this unit.  What is the best program to have loaded.  I don't know of anyone who would be able to Dyno Tune the bike where I am at.  The bike is also at 2195ft elevation, I remember John mentioning this.

3.)  Guys with the Dalton 650 clutch kit what type of difference did you notice??  I have had 29.5 Outlaws with a stock clutch and only noticed a bit of belt slippage when doing slow moving mud riding when I let off of the throttle.  I also had the EPI kit which I liked until I burn't my belt in some thick mud.  Engagement was right at 2500 rpm's.  Now I just have the white EPI primary spring in and get a bit of belt slippage in the same area's as with the stock clutch.  Engagement is at 2100 rpm's.

4.)   Who has a snow plow on their machine??  Does the mounting bracket work with the stock BRP skid plates??

Thanks for the help

1. I think John Cannon changed out his handlebars...don't know of anyone else...might check other Can-Am forums out there.

2. I know alot of guys running the Uni filter...think the Twin Air is good to (avoid the K&N imo).  I don't think anyone gives out maps, especially when every bike out there runs a little different.  Talk to John (think he may have posted it somewhere), he can help you with what you may need to figure out ur a/f mixture at diff points in the curve.

3. I have the 800, but still a Dalton clutch kit...changed out the primary spring and 3 weights.  I've noticed that when in thick or a little bind, you have to romp on it just a bit to get the rpms up, then feather the throttle to avoid belt slipage.

4. I love the snow, but only get it 1 day every 10 yrs...lol.

Hope this helps.

Most guys are at lunch so give them time to answer.

I would have them load up the base program. The aftermarket exhaust/filter map is too rich.

I also run the EPI primary and secondary springs and have not had any troubles.

I went with the flex bars on my renegade.  Do alot of stand up riding in hare scramble races.  I am 6'3 as well.  I ABSOLUTLY LOVE THEM!  Had to get the bar adapter to fit the thicker bars.  Most cycle shops carry them and I think they are availble on their site.  http://www.****co.com/  I went with the 12degree bars.  Probably the best investment yet on the machine.  You might look on aurorawheelers.com.  There is a lenghthy thread on there from mrrpm.  He is custom grinding the helix from the secondary and helps with the low end with no affects on the top end.

I had a lengthy conversation with Dale at Dalton Industries about the helix thing.  He said that the 800 and 650 helix's are different and he has see alot more 800 helix's breaking and hardly any 650's.  I   did order the 650 dalton clutch kit though, I couldn't really got wrong with the 30 day money back deal.   I am looking at some TAG X5 bars, 805mm wide, 115mm tall and 62mm sweep.

I have to agree with yardwork on the Flex Bars - they are awesome.  Never used the tag bars so not sure on them.

I also have them on a Renegade, but on the X you do not need the brackets.  But Can AM will sell them off the X package and they are a perfect fit.
