Well, I used 1.5 in blue spa flex hose on everything but where I came up through the rack, from that point I used 1.5in. pvc. I also wrapped the spa hose with insulation tape, then high temp duct tape to make sure it doesn't get any burn holes from heat sources. I wanted to constuct the whole thing out of pvc, but there are just to many bends and its just to tight of a fit under my skins so thats why I went with spa hose. I actually have 4 snorkels, 1 for air intake, 1 for transmission intake, 1 for transmission exhaust, and the last snorkel I ran all of my breather tubes and carb lines too. most guys run all their breather tubes to the headlight pod which is fine, but I think it looked better having that 4th snorkel( instead of 2 on 1 side and 1 on the other). On the trans exhaust I used a rubber reducer coupling( 2in to 1.5in)the 2in side goes on the trans exhaust port, its a tight fit but it will fit. On the trans intake I used a 1.5in rubber 90* coupling(from home depot). The trans intake coupling is hard to get to. its in a tight spot, just make sure its tight and secure. you have to remove the air box to get to it. Where you route your spa hose through is up to you, you have a few options. I just tried to stay as far away from the heat sources as possible and routed it with the least amount of bends. Spend some time on that, you'll see what i mean. Now my air intake, i turned the black tube that enters the top of the air box 180* so it faces the back of the bike(made routing it easier). I cut the black tube that enter the air box about 3 in. just past where it enters the box and thats where I used a 1in. rubber coupling to make my conversion to the spa hose. Again how you tap into the air-box is up to you, you just don't have alot of clearance between the top of the airbox and the seat so keep that in mind. Thats why I used the stock snorkel cut it and turned it 180*, because it cleared easier then any other idea I could come up with. I also rtv'ed the crap out of the lid of my air box and where the tube at the top enters the air-box.(No leaks) I have the storage box on the front of my Magnum and wanted to keep it functional so I came up through the fenders. it was a pain in the @ss but worth it. The hardest part of doing it this way is keeping the pvc secure and durable. Its definately not the easiest bike to snorkel, but again definately worth it. I'll stop here so I don't confuse you anymore.lol That should be enough to get you started or al least get an idea. And don't forget to dielectric grease every single electrical connector on the bike and don't be bashful when doing the sparkplug. BTW welcome to High Lifter, bunch of good guys round here!
