I used to have sirius and I thought it was a waste of money.  Yeah, you get the comedy and stuff, but im not a sports fan so it didnt benefit me there.  My favorite were the country stations.  Other than that, I didnt care for it.  I ended up dropping my subscription.

I am a XM guy and XM wasn't bad at all.  We used to have Squizz and now that new Octane SUCKS!!!!  It's like they are stuck in the early 2000s on all their music now with nothing new playing.  I guess they just changed it all because Squizz wasn't near this bad before.

i loved xm. i hate that they changed. i agree octane is nowhere nere as good as squizz was. the other stations are not to different from the way thry used to be except for the names are kind of lame.

A*flippin*MEN,   I have sirius and they got rid of my 3 favorite stations and put BPM in plave of one of them, they said they where just doing what listeners were asking for, i guarantee, except for the crossover of the sports, no one either XM or Sirius wanted their music channels changed, there was a reason we all picked one or the other, now they merged them so you figure there would be twice as many stations and choices, NOPE, they cut alot of each one of their stations then just threw them together. Would of been niced if they asked the paying customer first.

I had XM years ago and dropped it for sirius. I hatted Sqizz or whatever it was called! Octane was way better! I dropped both of them a month ago and really miss it. My screen went out on my plug and play for the second time a decided I wasnt buying anougher one untill they come out with one that doesnt need an external antenna. I want one that you can just plug into a cigarette lighter and take in whatever vehicle you are driving for that day without having to buy a $50 mounting bracket for each vehicle.

^^^^^I do not agree with you that octane is better than squizz.. squizz plays brand new hit stuff that you hear on local stations months later. they should have left the xm and sirius stations alone and just merged the company to double the stations that is what i thought they were going to do.. they definitely messed up imo.

Last I checked, 17 went from Chesney to Elvis.  I didn't even know that squizz was gone.  I liked it but I listen to sports radio alot so I didn't notice.  I need to go out to my truck and see what else is changed.  XM sends me e-mails all the time but I never looked at them.  Maybe that would help, lol.

My Serius changed for the worse as well. I don't like it as well as I did before the merger.

That's what I'm hearing too.  I am a Squizz fan and they never played stuff like this.  All of my buddies that had Octane before said it has changed too.

I have both XM and Sirius and I agree.  The merger has not done what it was designed to do.  I still have programming on each that I like that I can't get on the other radio.  My two big complaints so far are the loss of Squizz on XM radio and the loss of Maxim on Sirius radio.

I have sent several emails to them , now some one from programming department is writing back to me.
one of his comments was ,the songs you like are still on there they just might be on a different channels, I replied back great so now i have to listen to channels and music i may not like just to find 1 or 2 of the songs i do like, Sounds an awful lot like my FM radio now, lets see what he writes back, seriously every one needs to email them at least once to tell them how you feel, i told them i was not alone in my frustrations.
