How come there's not an option to have sig pics on here? Every other forum I frequent has that ability. Can I get some feedback on this issue please?

I am not sure exactly why the option is disabled, but I would assume that the reason is a bandwidth issue, as well as a moderation one.

I can understand the bandwidth issure. I think they would be moderated just like the avatars. Ya'll certainly dont have any problems lettings someone know when thats offensive.

You know...I've wondered the same thing.
I've also noticed that this pretty much the case on just about every ATV board I go to.
But...there are several non ATV sites that I frequent...and they all allow signature pics.
Most have pixel/size limitations to where it isn't that much of an issue.
Usually...making a 500 wide by 100 high and 100k file size limit lets things still run smooth.
But...I don't make the rules...so oh well.

I've event seen it as low as a 30k limit in some places.

Clogs up the forum in my opinion... Nothing worse than someone posting a screen sized picture every other post.

Put the picture you want in your avatar, that should be good, right?

Be glad we have a signature at all... in the past there had been talk of doing away w/ sig's all together.

I personally dont care for pics in sigs. I agree with the statement that it clutters the forum and makes it more difficult to read/follow.

I'd rather a small picture than 35 lines of text.

I would much rather see a single small pic like MudKing02 posted, instead of line after line after line of mods people put on their quads. That is what clutters the forums. IMO. I'll pick on 1bad450 since he posted in this thread. Here is his sig:

2008 Green Polaris RZR

~ Black 05 Rincon 650
HMF Swamp Series
Mudbuster Cam
HC Piston
DynoJet Kit
Stealth Snorkel
DynaTek CDI
K&N w/Prefilter
PowerMadd Handguards
25" Terracross'
12" ITP SS112's
Hand & Thumb Warmers

26 & Lovin' Life!

WTB - Polaris IRS 12" aftermarket wheels!

IMO, that is entirely too much. I would much rather see

any day.

Yeah - my sig is kind of annoying isn't it... Started small, but after adding lines each time i got a different mod, it filled up fast.  Reducing it now. Thx for picking on me... lol

I'm still going to say that pictures clutter up the forum too much though... A small one wouldn't be bad, but you can have an avatar pic.. Why are 2 needed?
