Status: offline 		Scrap.  Find old trucks/cars/whatever that people have in their yard, pay them 100 bucks for it, then take it to a recycling plant and get 400. 
A friend of mine in Alabama is putting himself through college doing that and does quite well.  He just has a trailer with a winch on the front and he'll just winch old cars and trucks onto it and haul them to the dump.  He'll put up signs on boards or whatever, but then he'll also just drive around and when he sees a couple rusted out cars in someone's yard he'll pull in and ask if they need them moved.  Some people jsut want them out and don't expect money, some are willing to pay to get it removed.

Status: offline 		Outshot. Since you live in the Houston area they're are alot of businesses willing to pay people to haul parts to different areas for them. You can make your own schedule and charge what you feel necessary for the load. I know a couple of people who do this on the East side of Houston.
