Dude, the suzuki is garbage compared to the yamaha.  Yeah, it does have a wider stance and efi, but thats where the benefits cease to exist.  The yfz has more bottom end.  It is faster in acceleration, and I can guarantee that.  But, if I had to recommend a sport bike, I would look at the ktm's.  They are expensive, but they are a great buy when you consider what you get.  But, to answer your question, the yamaha is a better bike.  Why do you think most drag bikes are either a honda or a yamaha.  Im just sayin.

hahaha what???

You do know the only benefit of EFI is the lack of tuning. Carb bikes make can make more power than EFI.

ok im done with this thread efi is much easier maintance no carb gumming up and needing of jets and floats getting stuck and def do not agree with making more power it is unreal the throttle response on a efi compared to the good ol spittin and sputterin carb but even if both machines were running top notch the zuk hands down my buddy could beat me on his and when i get on his i beat mine (EFI get in with the new out with the old) o and half you guys have no idea since you are so biased to a brand i ahve owned many brands so that is no exuse im just stating the obvious but laterzz

No Im def. not biased, if I was to go out right now and get a new bike it would be a KFX. And yes actually I do know what the h3ll Im talking about. If you ever see any serious drag bikes chances are they will be carbed. Its just like I was saying, for people who have no idea how to tune a carb or are too lazy to tune/work on it, EFI is great. If you have any knowledge of jetting at all and dont mind working on your bike then carb is the way to go.

Got to keep in mind the EFI market hasnt really taken off with ATV's just yet.  I see the carb vs EFI the same as V8's.  Carp for flat out peak power.  EFI will rule the curves every where else.  Just from what I have seen on dyno sessions.

some of the newbies are off the chain. The suzuki is a great bike. I think the yamaha would be better for you on the trails. I tried to take my r450 trail riding once and it wont happen again. That same stance that helps out so much on the track killed me in the woods. So for what you are gonna be doing yfz all the way man.
