Im looking for some good loud heart pounding subs to put in my new bravada
im thinking of getting 2 RE audio SE 12's and putting a 1500 or 2000w UsAmps amplafier to them both
these arent cheap but they have the sound im looking for to sum it up does anyone know of something that will set off car alarms when i crank them on for a half way decent price and that they will stand behind?
anything helps im open to ideas
THANKS!

Check out stevemeadedesigns.com that boy knows his stuff he has some insane builds that are daily drivers and a forum that will point you in the right direction with any of your ?s this is the kind of thread that is going to bring out "mine is better than yours" so be ready for that do your research before jumpimg in on anything thats my advice...just like anything else it all depends on how much money you want to spend...i have a pretty big system in my truck building this type of thing has be a long time hobby of mine i do it for fun not to compete or to annoy people by setting off car alarms not to say i havent set off a few but that is not my intention...just my 2 cents..hope that helps..peace..

JL Audio and Kickers are some of the best subs made.

Precision Power (PPI) used to be great also, but were very expensive. Not sure if they are even still around. Been some years since I was in the car audio scene.

that doesnt prove anything there is a lot of variables that come into play.

anyway if you can and have the room get you two l7 15's or like muddnmason said jl audio also. the good thing about jl is they dont take a lot of power to push them and make them "knock"

Another vote here for the JL's.  I have two 10" JL W3v3's under my rear seat.  The sound is real clean and will "thump" if you want it to.  I think the amp I have is a JL 750HD.

I think you are on the right track with the RE subs. From everything i have seen these look awsome! I am not sure if these are any cheaper r not, check out Atomic also. I have one 15" in my car with the biggest amp SPL makes(cheap for 3200 watts rms). It will rattle  the windshield wipers pretty good!

I wasnt a real big fan of JL's. I had 2 w3v2' 10"s for a while and had nothing but problems with them. I want over powering them. Infact I was giving it to them exactly right, but they jsut didnt hold up. I bought some kickers and I am very pleased with them.

Re is oldschool audio and they still out beat any new subs. A kicker CVX Comp series or any other wont outbeat it. I had 4 l7s in my backseat, didnt beat hard enough. Got 2 Kicker CVT's udner my backseat, wont even make your butt tingle when sittin on the eat. Got Re 6x9 door speakers, are awesome and beat enough for door speakers. Got the xxx series in a box on my backseat, thumps harder than any other.

Now JL doesnt take a whole lotta power to push it but a Re will outbeat it regardless

i disagree, there are a lot of great sounding subs out there, just knowing the specs and how to build an effective enclosure is a big factor!

Rockford Fosgate. Just stay away from the cheap end speakers. Get an old school punch 45 amp.
