That sucks.  Well, keep an eye out and I will too, because you know the people around Byram and Jackson that are dum enough to steal it will more than likely be dum enough to take off on Friday or Saturday night riding it too!   You know you could just get insurance real quick and then wait about a week and report it?  Oh snap, did I just say that out loud? hahah

Well what would've happened when you wreck into someone or something on your way to school? No insurance means you'll be screwing someoe over! I'm sorry for your loss but if you would have been thinking about the future then you would have been covered!

Sorry to hear about the loss because that was a sweet lookin bike but you should have had insurance.  its just a part of owning a motor vehicle.

Sorry for that man. I know how it feels, had 3 quads stolen. Gotta learn to take the keys out, lock 'em up, and GET INSURANCE. Last bike that got stolen, was a 03 Honda and the Insurance company gave $8000 for it and went and bought a new Honda! Speaking of Insurance, I better get some for my bike

sorry for your loss, mate.
thieves are disgusting individuals and deserve the death penalty or at least their hand(s) severed.
as hard as it is going to be, take it as a lesson learned.
i do hope they recover your bike. it's very nice.

Bad news...We are having a problem with the same thing down here.  I have personally recovered like 7 or 8 bikes this year.  Most of them were parted out, and a frame is the only thing found.  Hopefully this isn't the case, and you'll get it back intact.

All I can say is if you don't get insurance, at least get LoJack.  Or even better, get both.  Most insurance companies will give you a break if it is LoJacked.  Down here, LoJack has an excellent track record for recovered vehicles, mostly located the same day.  They are even installing systems in ATV's, snowmobiles, and jet ski's.  I think you can get your laptop covered, too.  I know I sound like a LoJack rep, which I'm not, but in my experience, buy a car with OnStar, and if you have a bike, LoJack it.  You'll never know how much faster and easier it is for Law Enforcement to locate your vehicle with either installed.

i'm not sure if you guys have ever had a crotch rocket insured on a 20-25 year old male.... its more than $90 a month around here... and some places won't even cover sport bikes.

I have been lucky with all the toys I have!  I'ma start chaining my rzr being its getting soo close to x-mas.  I have my busa locked up in our storage room outside so it should be good.

I really do hate you loss man.  I have put this up on another board and also as a bulletin on myspace, some of the other board members said they will pass it on to some of their freinds too.

I have a Eyebolt in the bed of my truck so when my quad is in the back it gets cable locked to the truck, and when they are in the garage i epoxyed a steel loop into the floor and they get chained to the floor when they are in bed. Had both of mine stolen out of my garage about a year ago. Sorry to hear man, Good luck finding it or the SOB's that took it

dddaaammm man.Im so sorry to hear that.that bike was beautiful. All of these stories about people getting there stuff stolen makes the money i spend on insurance on all of my toys that much easier to spend, and insured to the max, just because its getting worse and worse .

And to all you guys and gals reading this, learn from his loss.dont think it cant or wont happen to you because it can and will,in a heartbeak. It doesnt matter if you have a chain or locked up,they will cut the chain and pick or break your locks just to get it,and with a pair of bolt cutters a chain dont stand a chace,,its just a matter of seconds for them to cut it and take your stuff.

GET INSURANCE !!!!!you wont be sorry!!
