BUILDING A SPEAKERBOX WHAT KIND OF STEREO AND SPEAKERS SHOULD I GET UNDER 200. WANT IT LOUD. GOING TO WEST MARINE.

I FOUND SOME AT WEST MARINE THEY ARE SONY AND I THINK THEY ARE 100 WATTS IS THAT LOUD ENOUGH TO HEAR OVER THE HMF OR SHOULD I BUY FOUR SPEAKERS.

4 for me. is that 100w peak or rms? peak you would need 4 but rms dude youd be good. i just dont hear much about the sonys to offer more input. good luck and get some pics and a sound clip when youre done for all of us to see.

dont start measuring speakers just because the power they can receve. in not all cases more power means better. i would find some good quality marine speakers and a good quality amp. you wont be able to get the best quality with 200 bucks. i dont know what size speakers you can get for you box but memphis, kicker, polk, ect. are all preety good marine speakers. find a amp to run them closer to rms then peak. i like it right above or right on rms for sound quality. i would give up loudness for sound quality. but you will be able to actually be able to hear the music and not just a bunch of blaa blaa blaa with cheap equipment. im not sayin that cheap stuff is total crap but better quality will sound better if set up right. you might only be able to run 2 speakers but it will sound better. good luck
