search youtube Yasky has some good videos of skimmers.

And I think they have a bunch of photos as well on there website.

I took this one at mudnats 2007, I forget whose it is.

I don't think that's possible unless he's running at least an 80 hp shot of nitrous. Here's my skimmer

I haven't been skimmin in a while. I got a bent trailering that causes the rear end of the bike to walk around on water. It is not bad enough to break the axle is why I haven't replaced it. There is one thing for sure about skimmin! You got to make a ton of power to more than 150FT (from a stop). I only know of a few that do.

It would be nice if more people got involved though.

i know a guy who i think wants to get into it he has a outlander with 67rwhp he had alot of motor work done to it and all the work only gave him like 4 or 5hp because his computer wouldnt match with it or something

There is no real formula to skimming. Its just alot of trial and error. 67rwhp with alot of nitrous might be a start, but like I said, you just got to try it and see what happens.

Actually, Joel flinched on the flag drop. I thought initially I must have jumped. But, I knew I has saw that flag quiver. When I got back around, Joel (starting line judge) said it was his bad that he had flinched. No big deal. Just wish I could have got it to do the same thing on the restart!
