plumbing dept. it is a pvc coupler, IIRC it is 1 1/2"

i wouldn't use the pvc coupling,  i would use the pipe couplers its aroung the same location as the plumbing stuff.

the male couplers are a little shorter than the female couplers
i have on the males for now  but will be changing over to the females as soon as the shocks start sagging bad again
