Saturday was awesome.  As far as I know EVERYONE had a great time.  I heard of some people that didn't go just because they couldn't drink...guess what....they missed out on a really good ride!

Status: offline 		Its not us. The parish (county) ordinance says if you don't have a liquor license you can't allow drinking on business premises. The park is a business. The person who gets arrested and fined for allowing it is the owner. Therefore........
until something else is figured out or a license is obtained, thats the deal.  Seems kind of strange that deer camps down the road can do what they want,since they are not a "business" but us being reasonable and professional is not good enough as long as we are doing this as a business even though there is nothing there but dirt,mud,woods,fences,etc. Hopefully people who want to ride at a great place within 10 miles of town won't hold it against us.

ummmm no its not buddy, but i like to drink. it was just a question.. but it still sucks. in TX you can run an ice house that just sells beer, with no liquer lic. fyi.

so how was the turn out there last week?? one day we may make a trip up there just to see it. kinda far from houston

Maybe Your faster in the pit when you've had a beer... he's affraid of losing... like the rest of us  j/k.

Rules are rules. Whatever. I'd ride regardless. New place here I wanted to ride, has a helmet rule. no helmet no ride, I didnt even own one, never thought I needed one to play in a mud hole but, I bought one so I could ride. didnt stop me from having a good time. and I'm pretty sure thats the main point of the park, a place for people to enjoy, and have a good time.

well DK I agree with you but as a former truck driver I'll offer this, it only takes 1 drunken idiot to give a bad rep to all people who drink and ride. %80 of people will automatically think speeding, fat, hairy, stinky, promiscuous(sp?) man when you say truck driver. Because thats the image portrayed by the few that make it into the media, or its the ones you notice at the truck stop. I for one, was never fat or hairy or stinky or promiscuous. But one time at a social event, I told a young lady I was a driver, she gave me a dirty look and walked away.. Stereotypes... they suck for the good people.

Status: offline 		I'm with catkrazy the only time I seem to ride wrong side up is when I drink. But hey if you want to ride there thats the way it is. Thats why I never thought about riding in the mountains @hatfield and mcCoys because you cant ride double on a single seat atv. Thats sucks!

When I'm not at work I'm out ridding and when I'm out ridding i like to drink cuz I'm not at work..... that is my way of not hanging out at a bar; so if you cant drink a couple of beers while you ride and relax I can see why some people may think that sux.
