Got 2 brand new units.  Any different tips on clean safety decal removal and permanent sticker application?  I assume heat gun and a Goo-Gone type of cleaner, any good tips would be appreciated..

if the stickers are anything like mine where you can just take a pressure washer and wash your wheeler and the water will just blow them off and then you can just take some adhesive remover and spray it on the left over glue and whipe it off with a rag. to put the new stickers back on i just cleaned the area with soap and water then whiped the area with alcohol and let it dry then put the new stickers on. i have washed the new stickers with a pressure washer many times and they havnt moved. i think dealers make sure they wax the area really good before they put the stickers on.

there are two differant products, one is called "sticker on" and the other is "sticker off" with the sticker off you just spray it on the sticker and let it soak for a few minutes and the sticker will just slide off. with the sticker on you spray the plastic and the sticky side of the sticker place it where you want, make sure it is straight and take a paper towel and work the excess off, you will never screw up with another sticker.

Somewhat off topic, but I had seen a bike where the stickers were removed and replaced with diamondplate.  Looked good!  The key I think to getting it to look right is to have smooth radius's on the edges.  There was some adhesive backed to it, and then drilled/rivited thru the plastic.  This was on a Honda, and I would assume that all the bikes have the big stickers rivited on from the factory??  Anyhoo, I had long ago removed my stickers and want to to the diamonplate mod, just not quite found the time though.
