Status: offline 		has anyone heard about this thing.  I checked the mail this evening, and to my surprise i found a post card about a ride right down the road.http://www.roosterscountrybar.com is the website listed on the card.  September 12-14 with a 50 acre mud pond guaranteed.

Status: offline 		Got mine too! Went to the website and the bar is adjacent to Delta Safari Park but didn't say where the ride was.  You are probably right.  Should find out details tomorrow.  Might just have to go the bar to find out.  The site said that the 60 miles of trails were dirt roads.

Status: offline 		WIC did not sell or release our mailing list.  The owner of High Delta Safari wanted to put on a mud ride and asked for the LA names.  We did not release the names to him.   However we allowed him to use the same mailing company that sends out the marengo fliers.  The fliers were sent to our company where the names were installed.   IF YOU DO NOT GO HE WILL NOT HAVE YOUR INFO.  If you go then you will have to sign a liability waiver and he will have your name & address.  The mud pit is basically a flooded duck pond.

I'm in the National Guard here in West Monroe.  Talked to the guy today about setting up a vendor spot out there that day and to make a long story short, there will be 2 ponds.  The 50 acre duck pond is going to be flooded about 6 inches deep.  There will be another 2 acre pond that will be fairly deep.  Still no word on races, but we have a meeting with him tomorrow.  There is one long road that all the vendors will be set up on and there is still (supposedly) 60 miles of trail.  I'll try to keep the forum updated on the details.

Status: offline 		Went to the bar last night. This place is pretty cool. Everything in the bar is new and very nice. It is a big barn that has been converted to a big ol bar. They have a mechanical bull. Decent size dance floor. Good music. Large area to  hang out outside. Good looking waitress's. I hope this place does well. its about 7 miles north of delhi.

Status: offline 		Dixie Devil, the camping is going to be roughing it.  He doesn't have any type of hook ups that we noticed on Sunday.  There is Poverty Point State park about 2 miles south of Roosters (excellent accomodations and camping areas).
