Im thinking bout a gear reduction on my rhino. Clutch kits IMO dont seem to get the job done like lower gears. If anyone knows a good kit im open to any suggestions. If you have a clutch kit please don't bash me to bad.

So what do you think of gear reduction. I had a clutch kit on my quad and hated it, but everyone seems to be 50/50 on the sxs clutch kits.

I have highlifter clutch kit and I believe that it has helped. It is not as noticeable as a clutch kit on an atv but it does do its job as far as I am concerned. Since there is not a gear reduction available for our rides this is one of the best mods I have done to my ride. JMO

When I had one on my rancher i loved the power but hated the high rpm's. Do you still have this prob on the rhinos?

The kit that I am using does not have a high stall, which gives the high revs before engagment.

The HighLifter Outlaw SuperDuty Clutch Kit seems to give you a lower gearing as it drops your top speed.  But it deffinately helps turn larger tires. I was runniong 30" mudlites on my Rhino and could tell the difference the kit made.

gear reduction would be nice, but I don't know of any for the Rhino.  Now I've heard that the clutch kits for the Rhinos don't do very well.  Based on info I found in the forum, I went with Grizzly 700 weights and an EPI Secondary Orange Spring.  I haven't given it a full test, because I'm in the process of relocating my radiator, but I gave it a short test in the yard right after I installed it.  I think it made a good difference.  my take-off was much better.  Of course I'm only running 27 inch Monkies.  After I relocate my radiator, I'll give it a complete test and let ya'll know.
