One of the Rhino's in our group is acting strange. It's a 700 EFI with a clutch kit and 28" SB's. When it's cold it will run just fine but after it runs 2 or 3 minutes it will hardly move. We pulled the belt housing off last night and the belt looks good (not to say it is still good) but there was a bunch of a grayish dust in that housing. Do yall think it's the belt or could it be a problem with the clutch or clutch kit? Everyone we talked to says that a smoked belt would be glazed over and would be obvious. That belt looks like it's in good shape.

Thanks

is it still reving? Sometimes if the belt housing gets flooded with sandy water the grease will harden up and stick the clutch in high gear. the symptoms would be like taking a manual shift and trying to start from a dead stop in 4th gear.

Yeah. It revs up real high and barely moves. How to check that?

follow grizzly clutch instructions to service the clutch, sounds like its dry to me as well, may have already burned up the wet clutch as well, thats how my grizzly acted when I burned up the primary sheave and clutch pads in the wet clutch
