one of the guys in our group just traded up to a 700, what mods will help the bottom end "jump" the most, he says it doesnt jump off the line like it did and has a governor at 43 and can feel it kick in, what do you recomend?

a pipe and clutch kit will make it jump more than anything.  Mine doesn't have a governor at 43mph, I wonder why his does.

I don't know why yours doesn't.  The rev limiter should kick in around 43 mph.  You will need to get the dynatech ignition module that raises the rev limiter.  You can also get the programmer for that module that will let you adjust the timing curve.  You'll still need other mods to really wake it up, but it's hard to do without rpms

Is there anywhere in here like the yamaha forumm to look at the pcIII programs, like where people have dynoed one and are giving everyone the program setup?  I talked to him this morning and hes going to get the ignition module, pcIII and pipe, I didnt know he had the CDI on his 660 and he had forgotten he had done it and was disapointed in his 700 from day one,
thanks guys, any more tips would be helpful, I know a grizz but not a rhino

It's not the same module as what is on the 660.  It's a piggy back system that requires alot more harness work.  check out rhinoforums.net

5 minutes.  Hardest part is going to the fridge and getting a beverage first.

There's 5 or 6 connectors that are just plug and play.  I also added De-electric grease to all my connections.  No cutting or splicing, just unplug and plug in the new one.
