There are many companies now making ECU/CDI's for the 700. All say their's is the best. From first hand experience, which one gives the most bang for the buck of the ones listed? Also, can I expect 50+ MPH with a K&N,Power tip, and ECU? Thanks in advance.

I agree - I got the Dyna (I think BRP's is a Dyna with their sticker) - I have considered selling my Dyna and buying the MSD - much more options - I can do about the same with the Dyna, but have to buy the programmer which puts the investment over $400 - more than the MSD would be

I don't have one, but I'm planning on getting one.  It's plug and play.  go to hunterworks website and check it out.  they have an installation video you can look at.

you only have to program it, if you want to.  There are several pre-installed programs.

from what i read it came with number 1 set for a stock rhino with no other mods and then 8 and 9 would put it back to stock. the way i took it is if you added a pipe or snorkels you would have to hook it up and reprogram it. probly not too hard but i would rather have it where you could do it on the machine.

You adjust it with a screwdriver while it's on the Rhino.  You don't have to remove it and hook it to the computer unless you want to start doing custom tuning with it.

Todd from Hunterworks told me it does better with just the 2 inch exhaust tip and maybe an aftermarket filter.  If it can be programmed with a computer, then it won't be a problem for me.  I'll just take my laptop to my Rhino, plug it in and change the settings.

VDI HAS ABOUT 3-4 MPH FASTER AND SEEMS ALITTLE QUICKER RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX THEN THE MSD!

The MSD is completely adjustable for timing, rev limiter, fuel.  I don't know how the VDI would be faster on top end unless the MSD was not tuned correctly.

I sold mine so I'm not trying to hype.  Just asking I guess.

I was getting 65mph (speedo) out of mine on pavement with stock tires.  Had big bore and cam in it.

Gps--who knows.

VDI has all the same features as the MSD, the reason the VDI is faster it runs alittle more pre-advance timing and that is one thing that can't be change on the MSD!

I have JB3231's MSD and Rhino lol.
I have since removed the MSD and want to sell it. It is in perfect condition and looks new. I will sell it for $250 plus shipping (Thats $105 off of new).
I also took the 734 Kit off of it. There is nothing wrong with it either. I just prefer to run the motor stock. I will take $450 for the 734 kit and the Stage II cam. (Over $1100 new) The piston and cylinder are in great shape and have been inspected by the machine shop and are good to go.
Add the Hunterworks sheave to these items and you have a 62MPH plus machine.

Did you lose alot of bottom end power with the stage two cam, because when you read the describtion of the Hotcam stage 2 it's all for topend?  Just my experience a couple of rhinos we did the rhino wouldn't even climb over the wheel wells in a truck, stock cam or stage one no problem!

Don't know. It was in the Rhino when I bought it. I am going back completely stock on the motor.
My MSD is on E-bay with  buy it now of $364.99 plus $12 shipping. If someone on here wants it I will ship it for free. I would just need to know and can change the auction for them.

I just installed the MSD, hunterworks sheave, & a power tip on my brotherinlaws last week and it woke it up pretty good, with 28 backs it will hit 50 mph. Got it set on the 5th setting. Good bit more responsive when you hit the gas from a dead stop. Reverse dont have as much of a lug as before.
