Inspired from the ROR 650 thread. You need to connect the blue wire with the gray stripe from the big plug (cdi bundle, top plug in the pic) and the white wire with the purple stripe in the (relay) plug closest to the left side of the quad. (bottom plug in the pic)

This is on the 07s

On the 06s Instead of a white and purple wire at the relay, use the red wire with the yellow tracer.

BE CAREFUL AFTER DOING THIS MOD! IT WILL GO MUCH FASTER IN REVERSE!

i have 07 or 08 700 efi it does not have a blue with grey .i think i have a grey with a blue in the spot where you blue with a grey. thanks for any help.

i have not done it yet but i found a nouther sit that had apic of a grey with blue

yeah mine is nutting like youre mine blue with grey but i dont know what the other wire looks like cuse mine dosent have that color

KS Cat the wire colors are correct for 08's also...I have an 08 700 and it works perfect ...Thanks

Hey guys

I have an 08 700 and yeah that reverse is driving me nuts. Justed wanted to know exactly what wires to connect on the 08 model to override that governor.

dont use the blue with black strip wire

in a low light the black looks grayish

on arcticchat dont they say use the grey with blue tracer? because mine dont have a blue wire with gray tracer and its an 06 700

well i put some miles on Saturday and the bike started giving me a E assuming error code. took the jumper out and all is fine. What is the problem? how do i i fix that?
