i would say that red creek is an ok place to ride. the cabins are pretty nice, although neither of the ones I have stayed at were 100% finished. Of the two I stayed in the Lodge and the old cottage the Lodge was definitely the nicer of the two. The trails are decent, but if it hasnt rained in a while be prepared for a dusty trip. Dont really know if there are enough trails for 3-4 days of riding.

we stayed in the lodge last november i think and we stayed at the old cottage in september this year sometime. They have a decent amount of trails, but they arent maintained very well. I know that this forum is heavily geared to mud riding and I enjoy very much as well. With that being said I have found that all of the bikes with 29.5 to 32 inch tires have made many of the trails at red creek very hard for people with smaller less modified bikes to ride. I dont hold anything against the people with the huge bikes, I wish I could have one myself, but having to get pulled out every 10 minutes gets old. Some will say get a bigger bike, but if redcreek would maintain the trails a little better I think all riders would benefit. I don't know what they do with the money they make but from what I can tell they do not like to put it into maintaing there facility.

We have been numerous times. The park has really went down in the past 2 years or so. Like stated, if it has not rained you can't ride.......to dusty. If it has rained, bring waders. Some big holes out there. Be carefull, there are some dangerous spots that need to be addressed. Not big enough to ride for more that 2 days max. You can see the whole place in about 3 hours. But you can play all day in the mud holes.

Summer time is much more fun because you can swim in the creek and drink beer. WEll it is a dry county so beware. Noone usually says anything, but it is a dry county so play at your own risk.

Then red creek will be good for you, just don't be stupid with the alchohol. Keep it in a coozie but as stated you can really only ride for 2 dayys tops unless you spend obscene amouts of time at each hole. Since you've never been I would suggest that when you get there ride with someone who goe regularly on the first day so they can show you the spots to look out for. It's 45 minutes from our house and we never go cause all they do is put money in the cabins, not the whole park. And take spare parts too
