I just noticed my rear diff vent line is leaking diff fluid out of the accoridan. what is this from? diff full of water making it push the fluid to the top is my first guess. have a night ride to go on in a few minutes so i will check in the board in the morning. what i need to know is , is this normal and what do you think i need to look at? drain the diff?

I just noticed the same thing on my AC today.

The clamp on the accordian is loose, so I'm assuming that's what's causing the leak.

I guess if oil can get out, water can get in, so should I go ahead and drain too just to be safe?

yup flush it out. i usually jack one end up so i can turn the wheels as i pour fluid in to flush the bad stuff out. then lower it back down & fill her up & go.

forgot to mention that you can always silicone around the clamp to keep it from comin loose. not like you need to ever take it off.

I got the clamps replaced today and drained and filled the diff.

The oil that came out was a dark greenish color.  Is that bad?

It's an 08 with around 150 miles on it.
