Hey all, Ive got a rancher 350....fresh motor, stock 4X4. I am wanting to run the skinnies in the front and rear. Ive just noticed the dang rims on it are 11". Not sure what that crap is about. So I realize I need new rims...black steel (cheaper) and some 27" laws. I dont ride in "Butter" type mud, but do like to get in a pond or two. Im guessing the "big time" mud tires help in water due to a paddle like tire ?

Anyhow, Do I need to know the backspacing when ordering a set, or do they pretty much know at these dealers what ill need. 12" for sure, but I want a little wider stance and even on the front and back. Thanks for any help in advance !

you will need to order two rims with a 5+2 offset and two rims with a 2+5 offset. if the dealer you're talking is a honda dealer, you will be able to find rims alot cheaper on the internet. you might have some clearance issues with 27" tires may wanna look into getting a 2" lift kit. even with that they will still rub on the fenders. you can either trim the fenders or let the tire do all the trimming and just clean it up when ir quits rubbing. now if you go with the 27s and a 2" you will also wanna get some wheel spacers for the back. the bike will get tipsy when you start going up. oh yeah welcvome to the club tons of info

oh yeah you may wanna go ahead and start looking into getting the bike set up with a pipe, k&n air filter, and a jet kit. the rancher will need a lil help turning those tires if you happen to get in a bad situation. if nothing else you'll enjoy the upgrades

Just ask for some rear take-offs from a foreman. Most dealers will have some. Your front ones should be 12" already.

Interested?   I had these on my Rancher for awhile and came off of a Foreman/Rubicon.

You can fit 28's. I just have a pipe and it does pretty good for a 350.
