I was looking at this kit for my 800. I have all 3 of my snorkels together right in the middle of the handlebars. This kit comes with a heat shield behind the radiator. Would that affect the cooling any? Would it melt my snorkels if I took the shield of since my snorkels would be right behind the radiator. Just curious before I buy it. Or should I just buy the Gorilla kit. The fan gets moved up also. That kit below doesn't look like theres room?

You can use that kit, just put a 45 fitting at the base where the snorkles come out, that puts them at the same angle as the radiator. I think that would look best.

Im not really worried about moving the snorkels. If you look in the link they are standing straight up just like mine do. Im just curious about that heat shield they use with there kit. Will that affect the cooling? And if i don't use the heat shield will I melt my snorels?

you'll be fine.. The 6orilla kit can be slid forward or backward in the front racks slots to accomodate the snorkels

Ok awesome.. So as for the head shield being on that Daytonaatv kit. Do you think that will affect air flow and cooling?

Youll be ok with that relocation kit, i had my radiator mounted horizontal under the hood of my Rhino, it got zero air flow under there and the fan did the job just fine. I never had a problem.

the 6orilla kit has a cool mud shield covering the rad. I have a kit on order. Like they mentioned you can move it forward to clear the front snorks, I have the East Coast snorkles sticking out the pod.

I had to slightly relocate my fuse box when i installed my gor!lla kit. It is now zip tied to the frame just below it oriningal location and i can get to it above the right front tire.
